All About Its Sound

Before the Crossfade Wireless, the Crossfade M-100 was under the spotlight. But after the Crossfade launched the bars raised. The factors that resulted in this are –

Dual-Diaphragm Driver

These drivers are 50mm in diameter. Moreover, the bass is controlled by the inner and outer rings as they separate it from flowing into the mids and the highs. This magnifies the audio experience.

Analog Noise Isolation

Sincerely, I don’t know what is the deal with this. But my thesis is that this might be a fancy word used for Noise Isolation. Whatever it is, it does not have ANC characteristic.

This headset uses a Low-Power Qualcomm CSR chipset. Therefore, it has BLE. Also, the Bluetooth range is 10m.

Crossfade Wireless also supports Multi-connectivity which permits the headset to connect to two devices simultaneously.

So, you can enjoy music on your trip and just attach the cable to experience an incredible gaming action.

Key Features

One of its features is its excellent Build-Quality. Forg3D materials have been used for making this headset. So, you can experience a wonderful product of 3D printing.

Even more, it is featherlight and comes with 9 vibrant matte colors.

3-Button Control

Sadly, this doesn’t contribute a touch interface for giving various commands. Nevertheless, they have used the 3-button system that all are familiar with.

Therefore, these buttons can be used to control volume, music, perform voice call and also interaction with Siri/Google Assistant.

These drivers are 40 mm in diameter and produce rich bass & premium audio.

3D Positional Audio

This is not a big deal. Now, almost all the gaming headphones either premium or not they have 3D Positional Audio integrated with it. Therefore, the G933 also supports DTS Headphone:X or for the newbies, Dolby Headphone.

These gaming headphone manufacturers have very well analyzed what a true gamer wants from a gaming headphone.

Therefore, one expects 7.1 surround sound from these premium headsets. Even more, this headphone produces 7.1 surround sound with great fidelity.

The headphone designers have finely tuned the driver position in order to increase its precision which gives optimal audio accuracy.

In order to make the games feel more realistic, the headphones use a Hi-Fi grade ESS headphone amplifiers.

Communication & Connectivity

The Centurion makes use of a unidirectional digital microphone. This uses a sound-processing algorithm which aids in improving the level of voice quality.

Unfortunately, we don’t find such pureness in the analog microphones.

The algorithm manages to diminish the background noise throughout the gaming experience. They are accessible in both wireless and wired forms.

Also, the connectivity is excellent and it should be at such a price. But I prefer wired for competitive gaming where time matters a lot.

Key Features

  • 7.1 Surround Sound

  • Filters more than 90% of Environmental Noise

True Audio Experience

The Fusion 700 is an excellent sounding gaming headset. Moreover, Asus has used its ‘Asus Essence Driver’ which tweaks the bass and fines the details.

This driver is designed to give a frequency response of 20-40kHz.

Almost all the premium gaming headphones use the ESS hardware. And the Fusion 700 also has the ESS Hi-Fi 9018 DAC and the 9601 Amp.

By the grace of this, the headset delivers sound with ultralow distortion. Furthermore, the drivers are surrounded by an enlarged area along with the airtight chamber design.

This helps a lot in improving the audio experience. Similar to other premium gaming headsets, the Fusion 700 also has 7.1 surround sound.

Furthermore, the 7.1 surround sound is designed by the Bongiovi Acoustics.

But according to Asus, this surround sound highlights a custom algorithm for optimal sound quality.

As I told earlier, this headset can be used in both wired and wireless forms. As we know lag can affect the game results.

Therefore, Asus has provided the wired form for playing games so that you face no latency issues.

It doesn’t use type C but uses USB 2.0. Also, if you are enjoying music or traveling you can use the wireless mode. It uses the Bluetooth v4.2 so you can attend your calls by taping your headset.

Key Features

It is no surprise that gaming headphones are certified. So, these are also Discord and Teamspeak certified. Even more, the Fusion 700 has also got the ‘Design Award 2018’.

Engineers have designed the headset keeping the RGB neutral and at the proper place [According to me]. Moreover, the Fusion 700 has various RGB commands like static, breathing, color cycle, and music.

Controlled By Touch

It irritates a lot when you have to adjust volume while playing any game. But swiping the headset is very much easy for us lazy people.

So, this headset has a number of gestures which are intuitive enough for making life easy. Commands are:-

  • Swipe left/right – Select Track
  • Swipe up/down – Change Volume
  • Single Tap – Pause/Play
  • Single Tap – Pick-up a call
  • Tap and hold for 3 seconds – RGB Sync
You can mute the microphone by folding it.

AHHH! Such a wonderful post has now reached an end. Furthermore, this is the difficult part for me as I am not a PRO gamer so it’s quite challenging for me to recommend anyone from these.

All are well ahead of the headphones that we addressed in this column (Casual Gaming). So, go forward and buy any one of these now as they all are excellent.

Moreover, share this beautiful piece with your friends and everyone you know.

Comment down below if you have any involvement with such great gaming headsets.
